The past few years haven’t been easy for Wynonna Judd, to say the very least. In 2007, she weathered what for most would be an unthinkable scandal–the arrest of her husband, with subsequent conviction, for sexual battery of a minor. The demise of her marriage followed shortly after.
Most women would take years, if not the rest of their lives, to get over such a betrayal. But hey, that’s just simply not the Wynonna we all know. The unstoppable country legend showed up with her mom, Naomi, on the Oprah Winfrey Show and not only was her head held high, but a triumphant 60 pounds lighter.
How did Wynonna Judd, 46, who’s struggled with weight loss for years, conquer the scale and lose weight?
Showing off her newly thin frame after an amazing healthy weight loss in a sleek black pantsuit, Wynonna explained to Oprah that she managed to lose weight by using “meditative walking” as a coping mechanism and it has obviously worked as a great fitness exercise program and healthy weight loss plan.
“I just started walking not really thinking about doing it as a fitness exercise and weight loss program activity in the wilderness, and screaming at God, ‘why?'” She explained. “And I just kept walking–next thing I know, I like to walk.”
The simple fitness exercise program paid off – with her incredible weight loss. “I don’t look in the mirror now and say ‘you suck,'” she told Oprah about her healthy weight loss. “Let’s just put it this way–I’m on fire. From head to toe,” she quipped, referencing her trademark red hair.
And although Wynonna Judd is a fairly well known celebrity, she is most definitely not known for her appealing curves or stick thin body. Now, she still not known for being stick thin, but she most definitely has some appealing curves after her 55 pounds healthy weight loss.
Feeling more alive than she’s ever felt and sexier in a dress five sizes smaller as a result of her healthy weight loss plan – a fitness exercise program full of walking, Wynonna Juddhas even gone clubbing with friends and surprisingly wound up giving pole dancing, another great fitness exercise and weight loss program – a try.
I went to my first club in Vegas and danced on the pole with friends!” Wynonna Judd says. “I feel more alive.”
And feeling more alive is something that Wynonna Judd does not take lightly after coming through two completely life altering experiences last year that totally changed her outlook on life.
Last March, Wynonna Judd underwent surgery to repair damaged stomach muscles and developed complications from the surgery, blood clots in her lungs. It was only four months after that she was in a head on car wreck. So, it is no small wonder that she suddenly became “more determined than ever to commit not only to a healthy weight loss program but a healthier lifestyle overall with a good fitness exercise program.”
She’s even turned to brain state conditioning to help her maintain the new healthy lifestyle. Like so many others do, her diet plan had suffered, she used food as a crutch and a way to cope with stress, but brain conditioning is a treatment designed to help patients avoid doing that.
“My weight was a symptom and not the problem,” says the 46-year-old. “I used food to soothe and reward and I don’t do that anymore.”
Wynonna Judd admits that she had to give her pantry a healthy, weight loss friendly makeover. She changed out her pantry items for more healthy weight loss options in her diet plan. She no longer keeps donuts around, knowing that she always would wound up ignoring her healthy weight loss diet plan if she does have them around.
She’s even feeling more inclined to take daily walks around her property as her cardio exercise program, feeling pretty pleased that she can walk up the hill behind her home with no problem now.
Wynonna on Weight Loss Diet Supplements
Wynonna Judd believes in and uses weight loss supplements. She found that having a exercise program was still the best weight loss program out there and that why she now tries to walk more, get more exercise and not worry about the pounds. In addition, she’s focusing on being a healthy example for her children and teaching them how to incorporate a fitness exercise program in their daily lives.
