Dancing seems to be the new healthy weight loss program and fitness exercise program craze that has taken over Hollywood what with Dancing with the Stars and now, Strictly Come Dancing celebrity contestants sharing their amazing weight loss stories and crediting dancing as their secret to an effective weight loss program and fitness exercise program as well.

Many Hollywood celebrities had experienced incredible weight loss after joining a dancing competition for the stars such as Donny Osmond and Kelly Osbourne and now, yet another celebrity is backing up the effectiveness of dancing as a healthy weight loss program. Thanks to Strictly Come Dancing which is the actress’ current fitness exercise program and healthy weight loss plan, the 60-year-old actress showed up at The Graham Norton Show wearing a skinny dress and showing off a new, slimmer figure after her incredible healthy weight loss journey. When she sashayed on to the Strictly Come Dancing stage on Saturday night wearing a tiny, skintight red outfit, Pamela Stephenson looked better than ever.
In just seven weeks, since she started participating in the show and doing dancing as her fitness exercise program and healthy weight loss plan, the star managed to lose weight and drop two dress sizes. She’s had an incredible healthy weight loss of almost 28 pounds. She’s now a size 12 and proud of it.
“I have confidence in my body, which I haven’t had for probably 30 years,” she confessed after achieving her healthy weight loss. “I feel stronger and fitter – and I needed it!”
Pamela Stephenson admitted to having struggled with weight in the past. She’s always found it very difficult to lose weight, especially because she ‘s a fan of food. “Last Christmas, I was the heaviest I have ever been: 12st 7lb (I’m 5ft 4in and that’s obesity). I was not into any fitness exercise program or weight loss diet plan at all and even my very supportive husband was saying tactful things like: ‘Perhaps you should go easy on those marshmallow Santas. I’ve always found it hard to undergo a weight loss program – a healthy weight loss diet plan coupled with a good fitness exercise program hard because I love food too much. But Strictly is the best fat camp in the universe!” the actress said, describing her dancing weight loss program.
Prior to Strictly Dancing, the actress did decide to undergo a healthy weight loss plan and fitness exercise program. She started weight fitness training. And because she’s loved dancing since she was five years old, she made dancing part of her fitness exercise program, trying to fit a gym dance class and ballet barre fitness exercise activity on her schedule. She also accepted every invitation for social dancing that came her way, such as Scottish ceilidhs, a swing party and a girls’ night out at a salsa club, at which people sat around and watched all the men make beelines for young women in mini-skirts.She did manage to achieve a weight loss from doing dancing as her fitness exercise program – eventually managed to drop 5-6lb although this weight loss was not enough. Strictly Come Dancing was the fitness exercise program that really helped her achieve an amazing and healthy weight loss.
The wife of comedian Billy Connolly also confessed she felt intimidated by the tight Lycra outfits that dancers wear in the show. Pamela also admitted one of the reasons her weight loss is so noticeable is because of the Lycra outfits the contestants had to wear every weekend. Describing how she felt prior to her healthy weight loss: ‘The outfits are definitely intimidating. Looking at the dancers’ stomachs, maybe I should have had a tummy tuck before we started.”
Thanks to dancing as her new fitness exercise program resulting in a healthy weight loss, slimming down from a size 16 to a svelte 12, she’s more confident, especially since she almost fitted into her partners’ wife’s costume, who is a size eight.
Her husband is also enjoying Pamela’s healthy weight loss, which makes the star even happier with her slimmer figure. And while Pamela, who admits she treats herself to weekly spray tans to stay looking slim and bronzed, is reaping the benefits of her new fitness exercise program and healthy weight loss on the dance floor, husband Billy isn’t complaining about it either.
She laughed: “He finds my healthy weight loss a turn-on, which is a surprise because at first he complained I might embarrass myself doing dancing.”
