Olivia Wilde Weight Loss Diet Plan
Olivia Wilde is an Irish-American actress and model. She’s best known for her role as the sexy bisexual and dying of Huntington’s disease doctor “Thirteen” on the Emmy award winning TV drama House. But the actress is making new buzz because she’s starring in the box office hit, Tron sequel. Her role in this film requires that she wears tight fitting costume and she rocks it well! So what did Olivia have to do in order to look fabulous in her costume?
Did she have to undergo a weight loss program to lose weight a bit more? Did she have to follow a strict weight loss diet plan and good fitness exercise program?
Olivia’s Fitness Exercise Program and Weight Loss Diet Plan
Olivia’s fitness exercise program consist of her doing her fitness training exercises 5-6 days a week to play the sexy warrior Quorra in Tron, doing a combination of cardio exercise, weight-lifting and martial arts fitness training exercises, she reveals in the January 2011 issue of Women’s Health.
“I was ripped!” she gushed about the result of her fitness training exercise program. “Never been that way before; never will be again!”
Olivia, 26, recounts: “I did my fitness exercise program with a personal fitness trainer, so I did about an hour of cardio exercise five or six days a week, weight fitness training three times a week, mixed martial arts/fighting three times a week.”
Olivia is already sexy and that’s why the producers of the movie told her she need not lose weight or gain weight while shooting Tron because the high-tech futuristic form-fitting costumes were one of a kind, read: it could not have any alterations.
Olivia Wilde revealed that it was difficult to play Quorra in the new “Tron: Legacy” film because the role demanded that she maintain her lean physique throughout the whole shoot.
“I soon figured that my character was going to be this lithe ninja type and not this voluptuous thing. So we got to whittle down some of the voluptuousness!” she said.
Despite the months of grueling workouts and strict dieting, Wilde really enjoyed playing the feisty Quorra.
“The great thing about playing a strong female character is that I feel like I’ve created someone for little girls to look up to,” she says. “It’s interesting because I am drawn to those kick-ass roles,” said Wilde. “I always knew that eventually I’d get to play a really great one. It happened with ‘Tron.'”
Olivia Wilde Exercises
When asked what her normal fitness exercise program is, the actress said that she normally does yoga exercise, Pilates exercise and spinning to stay fit.
“Pursuing physical perfection is tiring,” the actress confessed and so now that filming is done, Olivia is happy to be able to scale back her grueling fitness exercise program. “For me it’s important to come home from work, cook a meal with my husband, and spend the afternoon reading a book instead of always running around.”
While fitness exercise and health are important to the Irish-American beauty, being obsessive over her looks isn’t.
When asked if she keeps any kind of weight loss diet plan, she said that she tries to be relaxed about her diet plan, but she avoids bread and pasta from her weight loss diet plan as much as possible. Her weight loss diet plan is pretty simple as her weight loss diet plan is all about being a vegan.
“I don’t own a scale so I’m not very conscious about whether I lose weight or gain weight, and Tao banned the word fat from our house,” she says. “If we deviate from our weight loss diet plan we say, ‘I feel clogged up.'”
Wilde confesses that she actually can eat a lot, telling the story of her eating 33 pancakes in 20 minutes because of a dare. “Guys have some sort of sick fascination with girls who can eat a lot and are not on a strict weight loss diet plan.”
But she did lose weight, a lot of it when she got sick with Dengue a year ago and had about 15 pounds of weight loss.
“All the women in my life started calling it ‘the Dengue weight loss diet plan.’
When asked about the other things she must have as part of her weight loss diet plan, she says, “Kombucha. People think it looks like vomit, but I think it’s fermented mushrooms, and it’s good for you.”
Whenever she did gain the occasional pound or three, Wilde manages to lose weight because she does her fitness exercise program daily. Part of her fitness exercise program is doing spinning at a local studio. She also dabbles in fitness training exercise programs such as karate, and additional cardio exercise by hiking regularly with her dogs: a bulldog named Lola that she lovingly refers to as “a side of ham” and a fluffy mutt that goes by Paco.
