Kate Walsh’s Diet
Kate isn’t a big fan of diets. In fact she says that they encourage her to eat more. Kate uses portion control to stay lean. “I’m usually so busy, and I believe in small portions and snacking.”
“I’ve done every diet there is. When I quit smoking years ago, I did the cabbage soup diet. I went on Atkins because I was going to have foot surgery. I knew I wouldn’t be able to move or work out and I was afraid of becoming huge. I remember sitting by the pool with my legs elevated, eating a mixing bowl’s worth of whipped cream with Equal in it”…”it was so disgusting!”
“I’ve tried everything, and the only diet that ever worked for me was Weight Watchers, which I did a long time ago. I’m a girl who enjoys eating. But I do believe in moderation and portion control. It’s all anybody needs! I love chocolate, and just a little bit goes a long way.” – tv.com
Kate Walsh’s Exercise
Kate works out to stay in shape. She is a fan of hour long pilates sessions, cardio, and yoga. “For exercise I basically walk my dogs slightly up hill. I don’t like steep hills. I’m lazy by nature.”
“I went to work out with Alex before the wedding, but it just made me feel flu-ey! Any time I try to get in shape it backfires and I end up eating more. “More often than not I’d get into my sports bra, wear it around the house and never get on the treadmill.” -Okay Magazine
