In a recent shoot for GQ, Jessica Alba appears to be in top form as she gears up for the filming of Sin City 2 this summer. She’s only 29 but this actress is already a mom to a beautiful baby girl, Honor Marie Warren and wife to Cash Warren and she’s still one of the hottest actresses around! Since Hollywood and the fans are dying to know the diet plan and fitness exercise program of Ms. Alba, she gamely lets us in on her weight loss plan and fitness training exercise program.
Jessica Alba’s Diet Plan
Reports say that Jessica Alba has been on a diet plan since the age of 12. Jessica said, “Everyone in my family is heavily overweight. I wanted to be healthier, so I started cooking for myself when I was 12 years old. When I eat breakfast, I’ll have an egg-white omelette and fruit, or cottage cheese and a peach. For lunch, I’ll have a salad. Dinner is usually vegetables and chicken or fish. During the day I’ll have some dried fruit, or I’ll have a chocolate or strawberry frozen yogurt. I don’t really eat desserts or bread.”
Jessica Alba’s diet plan secret according to her fitness trainer is “portion control”. She knows how to keep her eating habits under control. In addition, Jessica also watches her carbs, leaving bread and desserts off the menu. But she doesn’t deprive herself when she gets a particular craving. “You need to indulge and have that chocolate cake whenever you feel the need,” Jessica advises.

• Breakfast
1 cup oatmeal with berries with 3-4 scrambled egg whites when working on the film set.
• Lunch
Salad with 170 gms (6 ounces) of chicken breast or fish (salmon, tuna)
• Dinner
Sashimi or 170 gms (6 ounces) of petit filet of beef or other lean protein with unlimited veggies and 3 small red potatoes
• Snacks
Handful of almonds or hot air popped popcorn
Jessica Alba’s Fitness Exercise Program
Most people are under the impression that celebrities are blessed with great looks and great bodies. If they aren’t blessed, they could always go to the nearest plastic surgeon to fix things. While this may be so with some celebrities, most still like to have to earn their bodies the old fashion way – through a disciplined fitness exercise program. And Jessica Alba is one of them!
Jessica said that her fitness exercise program involves her working out every day for 45 minutes to an hour, cardio exercises. It starts out on fitness machines like the treadmill or the elliptical machine for 10 to 15 minutes to get her heart rate up to 180 beats per minute. Then she does 50 lunges and crunches. Next, she gets back on the fitness machines for another 10 minutes. She then exercises her shoulders, biceps and triceps which she does nonstop for four sets.
Jessica’s fitness trainer also gets her to do Thai Boe, Kickboxing and Kung Fu, for cardio exercise and to exude that extra energy. “I generally feel better and full of energy during and after my fitness training exercise,” says the Fantastic Four star. The real secret to Jessica’s fitness exercise program is a constant change. The idea behind it is that your body is constantly adapting and you need to change your fitness exercise program almost every time. This also keeps it interesting and prevents loss of motivation. Find a fitness exercise activity you really love such as biking, dancing or swimming to really keep your motivation high, and then mix it into your fitness training exercises.
