How Kate Middleton stays in shape
With the royal wedding approaching, Kate Middleton and Prince William have been the topic of conversation all across the Internet and the media. Every bride feels some sort of pressure to get into tip top shape when wedding time comes, but when the wedding is between a prince and a princess – well you can imagine the added pressures to look your best.
So what exactly does Kate Middleton do to stay in shape? Well, besides the fact that she will be kept in tip top shape from running from the paparazzi! Apparently Kate Middleton does a whole lot to maintain a healthy body. Who knew being a princess called for so much exercise? I can hardly imagine the princesses of the middle ages running stairs in the castles to stay in shape, but then again, there was no mass media in those days so there wouldn’t be a need to.
In 2007, Kate seemed to have lost a lot of weight, and people were very concerned. Then the word of her break up with the prince came out, and she lost even more weight. Like many people out there, the stress from the media and the break-up had made her lose her appetite. She would however bounce back, and she now keeps thin the healthy way – through diet and exercise. Something that doesn’t seem too hard for her.

Kate is apparently one of those people where being and staying healthy comes very natural. And even though she was an averaged size woman in the early 2000’s, she has been able to stay so thin lately because eating healthy foods is a part of her and she is always finding time to go to the gym to work out. And she does so for usually at least a full hour. She even had her own gym built for her by Prince William so that she didn’t have to worry about being photographed every single time she went out to the gym. When she did go out to the gym however, she usually cycled her way there, making her trips to the gym doubly effective. How nice would it be to have your own private gym!
Kate also enjoys doing yoga – something that requires a lot of dedication to holding positions and is good for overall flexibility and muscle strength. She is a very sporty person, and has been the captain of her hockey team in college – a sport that requires a lot of athletic ability, and has been in charity boat races. She is your natural athletic sporty girl, and she takes it upon herself to stay in great shape – not needing to refrain from eating during the day like some models do.
A while ago Kate was photographed on the beach and on a boat with Prince William and the tabloid press had a field day as she was seen in her bikini both times. This was also proof that she has a fantastically fit and healthy body. She looked athletic and lean, with a healthy balance of muscle and fat.
It is reported that Kate and Prince William will try to start a family right away, and will then have to start raising small souls while the press keeps tabs on them. Staying in shape while having kids can definitely be tough, but for someone who eats healthy naturally, and genuinely likes to exercise, it should not be that hard of a feat. Apparently Kate’s mother, is the one who takes extreme dieting more seriously, as it was her Dukan Diet that actually caused wedding speculation in the first place. She had lost 4 lbs in 4 days and the rumors started to fill the airwaves immediately.
Kate is pretty good at keeping her life as secretive at it can possibly be, especially for being engaged to a Prince. And with all the hype surrounding her wedding, keeping her life as well secretly kept as she does is a is a truly amazing feat – something that most people that are constantly in the eyes of the media just can’t do. There is one thing that is for sure though and that is when it comes to healthy eating and exercising – Kate Middleton is a natural! Something that we can all learn from.
