Fergie’s Diet Plans
Fast diet is not what Fergie does. Fergie’s diet plans are pretty basic. She tries to eat smaller amounts of carbs and only moderate amounts of fat. Fergie says that she’ll enjoy a little bit of everything in moderation, but likes to fill up on healthier choices. The celebrity will avoid all fatty meats (such as lamb and ribs) and fills the leanest cuts of quality instead. She admits to even eat fast food. “Sometimes when you’re touring, it’s the only thing. You just have to choose the right things. Salads are always good, I like posting Chicken Fajitas. And McDonald’s has the perfect yogurt now. ” When you are on a weight loss program trying to make your diets work within a busy schedule can be very difficult. “I eat low-fat and low-carb, but I can’t cut carbs out completely. I like them too much. For me, it’s all in moderation. I eat turkey burgers, chicken, fish and Boca Burgers are great! High in protein and low in carbs and fat.” She also enjoys some sinful choices on occasion and in moderation. “Pizza dipped in ranch or blue-cheese dressing” “A bagel with cottage cheese and tomatoes” is her #1 breakfast. “I heat it up, so the cheese melts a bit like a pizza.”
Fergie’s weight loss tips don’t end there. Fergie downs shots of vinegar. The pop star’s trainer Natasha Kufa passed on the weight loss help tip, claiming the vinegar flushes out fat in the colon and helps the body digest food. It also reportedly cuts out cravings so it is easier to stay on your diet plans and weight loss programs. Fergie insists the weight loss trick really works: “I do vinegar shots. It has to be organic apple cider, unfiltered. Two tablespoons. For some reason I’ve noticed a difference on my stomach.”
Fergie’s Exercise Program to Lose Weight
Like anyone who has a superior body, Fergie makes it a top priority to get in a kick ass workout nearly every single day. That’s right, despite being a busy celebrity, Fergie works out at least 6 days per week, for up to 2 hours per workout session. “Working out is really the top thing in my life that I do for my own self esteem and self-worth,” “When I’m exercising, I get really proud of myself because I know I’m doing everything in my power to be healthy.”
One of Fergie’s staple workouts is a 45-minute session with her treadmill exercise equipment , where she ramps up the incline and walks at a fast pace. This exercise tip works great for sculpting a hot booty, but remember to mix in interval training if you need to burn fat fast!
Fergie is obsessed with having great arms, so she does resistance training to tone and define her arms. If she feels that she has gained some weight, Fergie kicks her weight loss programs and muscle toning into high gear with a high intensity 2-hour workout that includes cardio work and total body weight training. This is great for body sculpting when you’re already lean, but if you want to burn fat fast, you’ll want to have most of your workouts 30 to 40 minutes of interval training.
Body weight squats and various lunges help her to tone and shape her legs, hips and booty. Remember, cardio alone does almost nothing to give you a better shape or more curve appeal…you have to make weight training your top priority if you want a shapely and toned body like Fergie.
Fergie finishes off each workout with a cool-down, total body stretching and occasionally some yoga for increased flexibility. This is important to achieve that long and lean look, plus it’s great for posture and overall health.
In her role in the musical NINE though, she had to gain 17 pounds. “We were eating our brains out,” she said of the pig-out sessions she had with co-star Penelope Cruz. Mrs. Josh Duhamel gained 17 pounds for the film version of the Broadway musical, which was based on the Fellini film 8 1/2.
Once done, it was time to hit the workout machines, for a fast diet and time to exercise hard. She got some weight loss help from her hubby’s trainer. He put her on a weight loss program that took a little time to get used. “It was a very gradual thing getting back into it and finally letting a trainer train me,” she said. “I didn’t want to be told what to do, and I wasn’t mentally ready to crack the whip,” she said. Her 2-hour training sessions included strength training, trail hiking and rope jumping.

Modify your eating habits. Fergie used to live on fast foods while touring with the Black Eyed Peas, but now she eats low-carbohydrate and low-fat meals five to six times per day. Eat foods in moderation–you don’t have to give up on items like pizza. Fergie’s favorite breakfast is a bagel with cottage cheese and tomatoes.

Train every chance you get. Walk on the treadmill at two miles per hour and a 15 percent upgrade. The incline increases your stamina and firms your butt and legs. Even walk backwards to switch it up.

Follow a cardio exercise routine mixed with jogging, hiking, stair climbing and dancing. Fergie doesn’t work with a trainer.

Tone arms and shoulders by doing pushups and lifting 8-lb. dumbbells in a lateral motion. Shape triceps by keeping arms close to your body and repeatedly extending the lower arm with dumbbells.
