Thirty six year old Denise Van Outen has said in the past that she would resist the urge and pressure to be one of those Hollywood celebrity moms that jump right back into a weight loss plan that involves a strict weight loss diet plan and rigorous fitness exercise program shortly after giving birth. However, it seems she is well on her way to an amazingly weight loss after giving birth just a few months ago. It may have been over a period of five months instead of five weeks, but she is still looking great enough to make other new mothers jealous.
How did she achieve her rapid weight loss? She followed a strict weight loss diet plan and fitness exercise program and, in addition, did not let herself get too out of shape while pregnant, using fitness trainer Nicki Waterman.
“I’m not putting any pressure on myself to lose weight that quickly. I’m just so pleased to be a mum.”
Though she also said “The quicker you get up and get back to normal, the better.” Sounds like she is feeling a little bit of pressure after all even though she denies feeling the pressure of achieving a quick weight loss after just giving birth.
“I’m going to take my time to lose weight. Not everyone springs back into pre-pregnancy shape like Gisele (Bundchen)by undergoing a weight loss program soon after giving birth.” says Denise.
But then again, just like Gisele, she did not neglect her fitness exercise program during pregnancy, helping to keep the weight gain under control. It is only natural that they would be back into shape faster than mothers who ignore their fitness exercise program completely while pregnant.
What Her Weight Loss Diet Plan is Like
Denise Van Outen is better known for her presenting stints on Channel Fours big breakfast program, which she used to co-host with Johnny Vaughan. Now, she’s letting her take a look at her diet plan and how she manages to keep her size 10 figure even after giving birth.
She says she “loves food and that no one should ever feel hungry or skip meals” because that is not a healthy weight loss and definitely not a good kind of diet plan to have. Her weight loss diet plan is very easy to follow and nothing complicated. She always starts the day with a nutritional breakfast diet plan.
“After you have been asleep for eight hours, you have been on a fast diet plan, and you need food in order to kick start your day properly.” One of her weight loss and fitness mantras is not to force yourself to eat food that you don’t particularly like. She says that diets shouldn’t necessarily be a punishment as a way of forcing yourself to eat foods that you don’t particularly like which makes perfect sense in itself.
Denise’s weight loss diet plan is based around eating low GI foods. These are foods that release their sugar more slowly which helps to keep blood sugar levels in check and stops cravings, you will also feel fuller for longer.
Under this weight loss diet plan, women may lose weight up to five pounds in the first week and possibly 10 pounds of weight loss in a month. Men can probably lose weight of five to seven pounds in a week and a stone in a month.
Here is a typical diet plan of Denise Van Outen:
Breakfast: Scrambled eggs on toast. Porridge. Alternatives are wholegrain cereal such as Bran flakes, Fruit and Fibre or All Bran served with skimmed milk. Or a bacon sandwich with two slices of toast a tomato sliced and a rash of grilled lean bacon with tomato ketchup if you want it.
Lunch: Mexico and bean pitta.
Dinner: Egg and chips with mushroom and tomato.
Her Fitness Exercise and Weight Loss Tips
Dancing is a brilliant way to do your fitness exercise- it’s fun, funky and make you lose weight fast.
Denise reveals some of the moves that got her body toned and slender, through an aerobic dance fitness exercise program.
“When I started to feel flabby and conscious about my body, I thought about doing a fitness exercise program such as going to the gym or maybe taking up running as a cardio exercise. But both ideas filled me with dread and boredom. Like most people I need to be excited by my fitness exercise program. If I’m feeling self-conscious or it’s raining I have an excuse not to get fit.
“With dancing there is no reason not to get stuck in. You can do it in your pajamas in your front room with the curtains closed. “It doesn’t matter how silly you look, put on your favorite music and dance – there are no excuses.”
