Christina Aguilera is about to turn 30 and she’s still looking as fit and sexy as she had been the first time her “Genie in a Bottle” video debuted on MTV way back early 2000 when she and Britney Spears were the only female pop stars battling it out for the Number 1 spot in the music industry.
She’s had several successful albums out already and she’s also now a mom to an adorable boy named Max. Like almost every other celebrity who’ve gotten pregnant and given birth, she had undergone a fitness exercise program and weight loss plan to get her svelte body back after awhile. The media certainly didn’t fail to notice that and had given her credit for her noticeable post baby weight loss.
Fast forward to a couple of years later and Christina Aguilera is on a new fitness exercise program with a goal geared towards fitness now more than weight loss. The reason behind is that the ‘Dirrty’ singer is now busy promoting her new album, Bionic. Certainly Christina Aguilera is already sexy but with competition from newcomers Lady Gaga and Katy Perry, the singer clearly sees that it wouldn’t hurt her to undergo another fitness exercise program to look hotter while she promotes her album.
So what kind of fitness exercise program is Christina Aguilera in on now? Tee Sorge, Christina Aguilera’s fitness trainer shares his client’s fitness training exercises.
Christina Aguilera’s Fitness Exercise Program
Christina Aguilera starts her strength fitness training sessions with a 10-minute warm up exercise on the treadmill exercise equipment. This fitness exercise is a great way to get the blood pumping before lifting weights.
Fitness trainer Tee Sorge says bicep curls are a great way to exercise Christina Aguilera’s upper body: “Christina Aguilera does three sets of each fitness exercise and uses weights ranging from five to 15 pounds.”
Another favorite way fitness trainer Tee strengthens Christina Aguilera’s upper body is by having the star do tricep dips. Tee, Christina Aguilera’s fitness trainer says that the singer is strength fitness training two to five times a week because “she doesn’t want to lose her muscle mass or put too much weight” especially during her long days rehearsing for Burlesque.
Fitness trainer Tee also says that Christina Aguilera’s favorite thing to do is to exercise those abs. It’s no joke either — she’s doing 300 to 500 sit-up exercises a session! And of course let’s not forget that a big chunk of Christina Aguilera’s fitness exercise comes from her stage dance routines, and training is geared at keeping her fit to perform. Dance exercises are what keep her in such good shape.
Christina Aguilera’s Weight Loss Diet Plan
In terms of the Burlesque star’s diet plan, Christina Aguilera has always eaten well, but she’s stepping her diet plan up a notch by cutting out white from her meal diet plan. She shuns white rice, flours, or sugars from her diet plan. Fitness trainer Tee shares that Christina is sticking to whole grains and lean proteins in her diet plan, but gets one cheat day a week.
A lot of people will agree that Christina Aguilera’s diet plan is slightly an unusual approach to eating to help maintain her slim figure and it seems to work. Her diet plan was simple in theory, although a little harder at times to build a recipe (she had her own chef). Christina would ensure that at every meal diet plan she ate four different types of food:
• Hot – steamed vegetables
• Cold – raw salads
• Crunchy – carrots, celery, nuts
• Smooth – eggs, smoothies
At first glance this looks like a rather silly diet plan, but there is some logic in it, which ensures that you eat a well balanced meal. With hot and cold, this generally means two different portions, so a healthy starter and then the main. The crunchy means that salads are essential, and the smooth encourages cooked vegetables, soups and yogurts.
And since she’s certainly looking hotter than ever, her fitness exercise program and diet plan definitely is working. So if you want a body like Christina Aguilera’s, you might want to give her diet plan and fitness exercise program a try.
