Brad Pitt’s Fitness Routine
Brad’s workout routine can change with the different roles he plays. He keeps himself fit on a regular basis, but when he needs to turn up the heat, and even give up some of his favorite vices to get in supreme shape, he does. His body loves to pack on 10lbs of muscle, and his trainer sculpt his body with their expertise. So what is his secret?
Brad Pitt’s Diet
In preparation for the movie Troy, Brad Pitt gave up cigarettes and cut back on beer and chips. Brad used a low-carb, high-protein diet during the training for his role in Troy, four high-protein, low-carb meals. Brad’s normal diet is also low carb. He did however although he did allow himself the occasional treat: McFlurry shakes from McDonald’s, “though it was more for a little taste of home, you know, a little Americana.”
Brad Pitt’s Exercise
For the movie Troy Brad has worked with personal trainer Gregory Joujon-Roche owner of Holistic Fitness and writer of The Action Hero Body. He prepared for a year with intense training. The first 3 months he worked out two to three hours a day in the gym, and two hours of sword work . “The first three months were daunting and not fun at all.” Brad’s hard work paid off, he gained about 10 pounds of brawn.
