Blake Lively’s Diet
Blake eats a balanced diet comprised of healthy carbohydrates, protein, and fat. Blake also likes to snack on fruit and vegetables, and is rumored to never miss breakfast. This is a good tip. If you eat a big breakfast (with healthy food) you set your blood sugar up to be stable, and I just feel really good all day if I eat a good breakfast.
Blake Lively’s Workout
Blake exercises to maintain her lean figure. She hits the gym 4-5 times a week. Blake will do about an hour of cardio on the Stepmaster or the treadmill. Then, Blake does an hour of yoga/pilates/tai-chi. Blake also incorporates weight training into her workout as well as lower body exercise such as; lunges, squats and crunches.
Blake Lively on Losing Weight for Movie Roles
Blake had to shed weight from her already lean five-foot-nine frame to play a beauty queen in the movie “Elvis and Annabelle.” Here are Blake’s thoughts on the weight loss, and how she did it, sound like the Atkins diet, or a low carbohydrate diet at least. Once you get into ketosis you will lose weight really fast. “I play a beauty queen who died of bulimia,” she says. “But beauty queens are still very toned. So I lost weight, but I got toned. It was the healthiest I’ve ever been. I just made chicken breasts from Whole Foods on a George Foreman Grill, with asparagus and broccoli.”
