Bethenny Frankel is speaking out against people who criticize her stunning 29-pound weight loss just three weeks after giving birth to daughter Bryn. Some have argued that Frankel’s touting her rapid weight loss on the cover of the new Us Weekly sends a dangerous message to new moms, who feel inadequate by comparison.
Bethenny Frankel, who flaunted her svelte physique in a red swimsuit, has already experienced a rapid weight loss of 29 lbs of the 35 pounds she gained while pregnant with Bryn, who was born via C-section May 8.
“Do I think my rapid weight loss is an unrealistic message to be sending? If I gained 80 lbs. and expect to come back, that’s unrealistic,” Bethenny Frankel, 39, told Access Hollywood on June 3. “But the truth is I’m healthy before, during and after [my pregnancy].”
The Real Housewives of New York star adds: “I kept a healthy diet plan and I did include sweets in my diet plan. I do love to indulge a little. I ate whatever I wanted, but not like a crazy person.”
Frankel stayed true to a fitness exercise program throughout her pregnancy. Walking 45 minutes a day was part of her fitness exercise program as well as doing yoga exercises. But she says that she credits much of the 29 pounds of her weight loss so far to water weight loss.
“I think when I left the hospital, I had probably already had a weight loss of 25 pounds,” Bethenny Frankel recounts.
Bethenny Frankel Weight Loss Tips
Reality star and author of Naturally Thin Bethenny Frankel shared valuable weight loss tips and keeping a healthy weight loss diet plan on “The Huckabee Show”. Frankel strongly believes that extreme diets lead to poor results and that the natural way to weight loss is the key to a healthy lifestyle.
The TV star is well known for her dramatic post-baby weight loss. Just a few weeks after she gave birth to her baby, Frankel was posing in magazines in bikini showing off her fabulous body after her post pregnancy weight loss. She advises all women not to go for extreme weight loss plans and to just treat your weight loss diet plan as if it was your bank account.
“The truth is, you can’t be extreme when it comes to a healthy weight loss program, meaning there’s no binging but there’s no crash diets either … Truthfully, most people are terrified while they’re pregnant that they have to eat for two and then they binge. And then when they’re not pregnant they go on crash diets. Extreme weight loss plans don’t work.”
Bethenny Frankel says moderation is the most important thing in a healthy weight loss diet plan. So, if you’re a fan of junk food and just can’t seem to stay away from it, just go for a small portion and make sure to control how much you eat in your weight loss diet plan.
“Well you can’t go crazy and eat large portions in your diet plan,” said Frankel. “I try to include something green at lunch diet plan and dinner diet plan, whether it be dark salad greens, sauteed broccoli rabe or spinach. In general, I eat brightly colored foods like greens, carrots, and berries in my diet plan. I also eat steel cut oatmeal and whole grain cereals as a good investment breakfast diet plan, and I always prepare whole wheat pasta or brown rice versus white pasta or rice.” For more information on healthy diet go to thatssuperfood.com
