Amanda Hamilton Weight Loss Advice:
Weight Loss Tips #1: Choose the protein-rich options
If you have had a sugar-rich diet plan in the past you should choose the protein-rich menus to help prevent cravings.
Weight Loss Tips #2: Be clever about eating sweet foods
Work out the times of day you crave sugary or fatty foods and replace your weight loss diet plan with something natural – an entire punnet of strawberries or a couple of pieces of dark chocolate instead of confectionery for example.
Weight Loss Tips #3: Eat big and bulky to achieve weight loss
When you choose “big” foods like fruits, vegetables, salads and soups, which are bulked up by fibre and water, you’re eating a lot of food that fills you up, but not a lot of calories. These are what we can otherwise call as healthy weight loss foods.
Weight Loss Tips #4: Use cheese as a topping, not a meal
Choose cheese with a strong flavour to include in your diet plan, such as parmesan or goat’s cheese, and use only as a topping of a meal. In other words, no macaroni!
Weight Loss Tips #5: Only eat when hungry
If you think you’re hungry but have eaten within the last two hours, drink a glass of water instead as you’re probably just dehydrated. Try to avoid eating when you are stressed.
Weight Loss Tips #6: Digestion starts in the mouth
You want to lose weight? Chew all your food well and eat slowly.
Weight Loss Tips #7: Read labels even if you don’t understand them
If you can’t pronounce the names of the ingredients the chances are you shouldn’t be including this in your diet plan much. If you do buy packaged food though, check the sell-by and use-by dates and try to make sure it is as fresh as possible.
Weight Loss Tips #8: Be prepared for quick meals
Make sure you always have the ingredients for meals that can be put together quickly in your fridge and cupboards, such as stir-fries, soups and salads.
Weight Loss Tips #9: Swap white bread for wholemeal bread
You won’t achieve weight loss if you keep eating white bread. If you want to lose weight, trade white bread for wholemeal bread.
Weight Loss Tips #10: Alternatives to alchohol
If you’re out for the night but want to stay true to your healthy weight loss diet plan then order tonic with cordial, or an alcohol-free grape juice which is just as tasty a substitute to wine. Alcohol-free beers are also becoming increasingly popular and are available in most pubs and bars.
Weight Loss Tips #11: Eat fruit, don’t drink it
Fruits are great weight loss foods but you need to eat them instead of drinking it.
Weight Loss Tips #12: Eat eggs
Another one of the weight loss foods you should have in your diet plan, eggs in the morning are great in triggering a hormone that suppresses hunger pangs in your brain – you’ll eat less for the rest of the day.
Weight Loss Tips #13: Have a Fitness Exercise Program for longer fat burning
You might be disheartened when the running or step machine fitness exercise equipment tells you you’ve only achieved a weight loss of 87 calories when you’ve been sweating for at least fifteen minutes. Don’t despair. You burn fat even after doing your fitness training exercise because you primarily use carbohydrate fuel during the fitness training exercise program which takes time to replace, so in the meantime, your body burns fat for energy. In other words, your metabolism is raised.
Weight Loss Tips #14: Take the stairs as part of your Fitness Exercise program
To lose weight, you need to burn fats. Cardio exercise can do that for you but you don’t have to buy expensive exercise equipment or avail the services of a fitness trainer just to achieve weight loss. You can do simple cardio exercise just by taking the stairs. By generally being more active without actually engaging in a fitness training exercise program, you could lose weight, at least a stone in 12 months with this alone, as long as you don’t eat more to compensate!
Weight Loss Tips #15: Eat 5 mini-meals
Fitness trainer Harley Pasternak has got it right when he said that you should have a diet plan that involves eating five small meals a day rather than three larger meals a day – and never skip meals. If you go too long without food your body will try to conserve more fat from what you eat.
