Then tell yourself that you’ll savor every bite.” ”To make each morsel satisfying, the quality of ingredients is paramount.” ”Eat what’s in season. When you don’t, it doesn’t taste like anything, and it needs a load of fat or salt or sugar to taste good. A strawberry only tastes like a strawberry certain times of the year.”

“Morning workouts, every day, are the best thing for me. I do yoga, which I got into while I was pregnant, or a half hour on the elliptical and 20 minutes on the treadmill. Getting up and getting my blood going gives me energy for the whole day.”

Jennifer keeps her slim figure by eating a lot of vegetables and lean proteins. But she also treats herself to comfort foods like pasta and pizza from time to time. ”I like to get cozy at home, make pizza and drink wine. I never feel guilty about indulging because I have a good attitude about myself. I come from a family where cooking and enjoying meals is a healthy part of our lives. If I want to have comfort foods every now and then, I do. And if I put on a few pounds, I don’t sweat it.”

Jennifer does Pilates and Yoga. She also does “at least 30 minutes on the treadmill and the elliptical, plus some weight training”.
