Gilles when not on Dancing With the Stars is at the gym every day! So that is what it takes to have a body like that!

During his appearance on Dancing With the Stars he started out dancing 5 to 6 hours a day and as the finals approached,  he dances a lot more. It is no wonder that according to him he constantly eats during training for the show. He consumes about 8,000 to 9,000 calories per day and “I still lose weight like crazy” according to Gilles.

But how did Gilles get to look so good before he got to Dancing With the Stars?

He has 1 love and 1 passion according to him. His love is soccer, he has been playing soccer since a young boy in France. He plays soccer as often as he can. He currently lives in Studio City, California, a suburb of Los Angeles and he loves to play soccer on a neighborhood team. As a matter of fact he made a comment, in a joking way, about how tired he is of his soccer team losing to the Armenian team. So soccer is his love.

His passion is Mixed Martial Arts. He has only been involved with Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) for few years but he loves it. He loves all aspects of the game, the training, the strategy, the fighting. He also enjoys training his son on MMA. He spends a lot of time in the gym and really enjoys seeing how some of the greats in that sport train. He is actually good friends with some of today’s stars in MMA.
