Keri’s Fitness Regime
Keri Russell does exercise by walking, sometimes with grocery bags, most of the time with her child. When asked how she kept her energy up, she responded that if she has the time, she does some exercises. When free she does Pilates exercises, runs, and walks. Her favorite form of fitness is biking. Biking is wonderful fitness for the entire body, especially the lower body. Keri Russell never had problems with weight loss courtesy of her genes. She says she loves to eat and she was never on any diets.
“My dad’s whole side of the family is very thin. Thank God I have that gene, because I eat doughnuts like there’s no tomorrow. But I do like to be physical, and I think if I just sat on my ass all day, I’d start seeing the effects.” She tells Health.com when asked if she had gone thought any diet phase.

- Is it safe? Some people would go for fast diets, but it may not be the best. Unless you have a health condition that requires a rapid weight loss. Always see to it that your health will not be affected when in a diet plan or weight loss program.
- Is it achievable? When we notice that our weight loss stops, we panic. We immediately look for the most rapid weight loss programs out there. We hire fitness trainers, and we try every weight loss plans known to man. But then after a while we become too busy to continue the next month. So make sure that you have the time to go on with the exercise program.
- How much are you willing to give up? Weight loss also involves a diet plan. Are you willing to give up on chocolates, ice creams, and a whole lot more? When in fitness training, most of these foods are a big no-no, because these are the ones that destroy our diet plan in the first place.

Elizabeth is pretty active–hiking the hills near her house in L.A., playing tennis with her husband, and hitting the treadmill and the free weights. “I really believe you have to make time for it, but I also know how hard it can be to find time to get to the gym and keep up with it,” she says. “The idea of getting in the car and driving to the gym and finding parking–it’s just not happening, because the whole thing could be a two-hour endeavor. I try to make it as easy for myself as possible.” During a recent renovation on their house, she and Handelman put in a home gym–so she can roll out of bed, get on the treadmill for 20 minutes (while she keeps abreast of the neighborhood goings-on from the view out a large window), do her weight exercises for 20, and be showered before an hour is up.
Occasionally, a trainer will come to the house and work out with her and develop new exercise routines for her. But one thing that is certainly behind Banks is any kind of group fitness class. The actress has her lack of coordination to thank for that. “I can’t stick with it long enough to really learn the moves,” she explains. “I’ll be in the back, with mirrors all around, and when everyone else’s hands are down, mine are up. Theirs go up, and mine go down. I just start laughing at myself and end up in a giggle fit, on the ground, laughing for the whole second part of the class.” Nevertheless she is not afraid to try different exercises. Her Pilates experience was short lived though; “A Pilates machine looks like a torture machine, and it’s really hard. I’ve done it twice, and my stomach hurt for four days afterward.” Recently Russell Crowe has presented the co-star Elizabeth Banks with a high tech gift. She shared his passion for cycling with Elizabeth Banks with a 21 gear high tech bike. The actor wants Elizabeth Banks to join him during the cycling around the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania location. However, she insists she was the wrong choice of cycling partner. The duo is playing husband and wife in their new film ‘The Next Three Days.’ The movie is about a woman wrongly accused of murder. Elizabeth Banks admitted that the gift is a beautiful mountain bike. However she confessed that she might not be the apt partner for any cycling enthusiast. She is not an athlete so far. She said that she might have to watch YouTube videos to learn how to change the 21 gears.
