For now, it has been said that Eva is into the weight loss diet book Skinny Bitch which was given to her by Lake Bell, an actress friend of hers. According to diet reviews Skinny Bitch is a witty best seller vegan diet book that has the weight loss information that veganism is the best way to weight loss done in a healthy manner.
To have healthy weight loss you will have to live off on fruits, organic vegetables, whole grains, nuts, lentils, legumes – basically anything that is organic. The weight loss diet is high in dietary fiber and is rich in antioxidants which are diet aids that come from the vast range of plant foods to be taken in.
While Eva still eats fish, she has increased the amount of vegetables and fruits in her diet. “I’m just lucky that everything I like is good for you,” she says. “I could eat vegetables all day long. I like fish and meat. I don’t really like carbs. I love fruit, yogurt and nuts.”
Eva is fond of having healthy snacks but she has a weakness for one sinful snack in the form of chocolate chip cookies which she has been eating since she was a child and still does. She barely eats in fast food but she will treat herself to a cookie or a sweet dessert. She also is fond of pizza and eats one twice a week.

Breakfast – Eva loves egg whites and she usually has an omelet which can be cooked with diced turkey, chopped tomatoes, onions and bell peppers. She usually eats her breakfast with a serving of fresh fruit
Lunch – Eva usually has chicken for lunch. One of her favorite meals is stripped chicken cooked with peppers and currants sautéed in mango chutney sauce. Lunch can be served with a salad and steamed vegetables.
Snack – for snacks Eva prefers to have Vanilla yogurt
Dinner – Eva usually eats fish and one of her favorite meals include fresh salmon which she marinates with ginger citrus sauce before being grilled. She eats this with a serving of fresh sautéed asparagus and fresh green salad.
For her evening snack, Eva has apple slices with cheese or peanut butter.
Eva Longoria’s exercise routine
At first, Eva did not have any weight management difficulties as she was a former cheerleader, gymnast, personal trainer and aerobics instructor. But when she saw the skimpy wardrobe that she had to wear for her Desperate Housewives character, she got the motivation to lose weight and start doing weight loss exercises.
“I knew Gabrielle would be a sexy role, but I didn’t realize how much lingerie I’d be wearing!” Eva shared with a laugh. “So I started working out. My degree is in kinesiology — it’s about exercise. So it’s in me to be healthy … but I can get lazy.”
Along with the new diet discovery, Eva also got a new trainer, Aimet Victoria who had had her doing cardio and strength workouts three to four times a week. Eva hits the gym four times a week to do exercise to lose weight for an hour each session. She knows that regular weight lose exercises are the best way to lose body fat. She does a combination of lose weight exercise because she claims she gets bored easily.
Eva reportedly participates in kickboxing and weight training sessions regularly. Kickboxing is a high intensity losing weight exercise that can help you burn up to 400 calories per hour. It does not only give her fat burning benefits but it also helps firm and tone her muscles with all the kicking and punching that she has to do. Her kickboxing combined with weight lifting are fast ways to lose weight.
Aimet Victoria shared to Ok! Magazine exercise tips on how Eva keeps her arms so toned – a part of her body that has been admired by women all over the world. Especially those who had to endure having that wobbly cottage cheese like bit in their arms due to weight gain. Here are some examples of the exercises Eva does to have sleek arms. Make sure that you do 15 reps of each and that you use five to ten pounds weights to lose fat in your arms.
Slow Curls – do a traditional bicep curl but you have to hold the weight at the top for three seconds.
Dips – get support by sitting on the edge of the chair and dip down. Make sure that your elbows are close to your body.
Curls and Presses – start with your hands by your side. Then curl up both arms like a traditional bicep curl and then press straight up overhead.
