Another purpose of Budokon is to “retrain people to think about movement.” The main difference between yoga and Budokon is that yoga makes you strong in a neutral position, and Budokon creates strength in an expanded position.

Cardio

Cardio is a type of exercise in which muscles draw on oxygen in the blood as well as fats and glucose, which increases cardiovascular endurance. Cardio is an essential part of any weight loss regime, because it speed up your metabolism, and burns calories.

Cardio Striptease

Pilates

Pilates is a physical fitness system that was developed in the early 20th century by Joseph Pilates. Pilates wrote at least two books about the Pilates method: Return to Life through Contrology and Your Health: A Corrective System of Exercising That Revolutionizes the Entire Field of Physical Education.

The program focuses on the core postural muscles, the deep abdominal muscles along with the muscles closest to the spine. With Pilates exercises you learn to control the core by integrating the trunk, pelvis and shoulder girdle.The exercises teach awareness of breath and alignment of the spine, and strengthen the deep torso muscles. Pilates is often described as a mix between yoga, and a ballet dancer’s workout. Pilates elongates and strengthens, improving muscle elasticity and joint mobility.

With Pilates you train several muscle groups at once in smooth, continuous movements. Many of the exercises are performed in reclining or sitting positions, or on your back, and most are low impact and partially weight bearing. Pilates is so safe, it is often used in physical therapy facilities to rehabilitate injuries. Pilates is also an extremely flexible exercise system. Modifications can be made to the exercises allow for a range of difficulty ranging from beginning to advanced.

Resistance Training

Resistance training is a form of strength training in which each effort is performed against a specific opposing force. Exercises are isotonic if a body part is moving against the force. Exercises are also isometric if a body part is holding still against the force. Resistance exercise is used to develop the strength and size of skeletal muscles.
