Cheryl Ann Cole is an English singer, songwriter, model, and television personality. In late 2002, Cheryl Tweedy (as she was known at the time) was chosen to be a member of the pop group Girls Aloud on ITV’s reality television program Popstars: The Rivals. The made-for-TV girl band was spectacularly successful. Girls Aloud achieved a string of 20 consecutive UK top ten singles (including four number ones), two UK number one albums, and received nominations for five BRIT Awards, winning Best Single in 2009 for “The Promise”.

The pop princess has recently spoken out to the media about her secret to a healthy weight loss.

The Diet Plan of a Pop Star

She told Hello! magazine “My secret to a healthy weight loss is sticking to a good weight loss diet plan. I watch what I eat, not to stay slim or to lose weight, but to feel good. Recently my mother told me about Eat Right for Your Blood Type weight loss diet plan, in which you’re told what to eat and what to avoid depending on your blood type.

“This weight loss diet plan has made such a difference – not so much to my shape but to how I feel and my energy levels. Before I was like ‘energy schmenergy’ and didn’t believe it. But now I believe it 100%.”
So does Cheryl Cole have any vices when it comes to food? “My only trouble is that I can’t do without sugar in my diet plan. I think I might have some sort of sugar imbalance. Sometimes I feel like I just need a chocolate bar.”

Cheryl Cole changed her unhealthy weight loss diet plan dramatically after getting malaria. The Girls Aloud singer is no longer skipping meals in her diet plan and she’s successfully given up smoking. She’s now following a protein-rich weight loss diet plan and is focusing more on eating and living healthier.
Before she got ill, food was the last thing on her mind, revealed one of her close friends.

“Before she got sick, Cheryl Cole’s weight loss diet plan was terrible. She used to skip meals and was so busy with work that she never had time to think about food. She’d even smoke instead of eating.”

But after she was hospitalized due to malaria, doctors told Cheryl Cole that her immune system isn’t helping her recovery at all, and that’s because of her unhealthy weight loss plan. They told her the best thing she can do is to stop eating junk food in her diet plan, so Cheryl Cole reconsidered her eating habits.

“Cheryl Cole’s doctor told her she needs a lot more protein in her diet plan, which is a challenge for her as she’s basically a vegetarian,” said her friend.

Cheryl Cole’s healthy weight loss diet plan now includes plenty of fish, brown rice, and vegetables and she tries to eat four to five meals a day. For instance, for her breakfast she has coffee and fresh fruit or a soya milk protein shake.

“But she does eat fish, so she’s been eating a lot of that – and vegetable risotto is also a current favorite. Tofu is another great protein source and Cheryl Cole likes it stir- fried with veg and brown rice. She also loves protein-rich spinach in a salad with strawberries and poppy seed dressing,” explained Cheryl Cole’s friend when asked about Cheryl Cole’s weight loss diet plan.

A Pop Star’s Fitness Exercise Program

Aside from changing her weight loss diet plan, Cheryl Cole also makes sure to have a fitness exercise program that she can stick with as part of her healthy weight loss program. Cheryl Cole had a fitness trainer earlier this year, along with the rest of Girls Aloud, and claimed: ‘We’d all indulged a bit too much, letting go of our weight loss diet plan. I felt my love handles creeping back and my weight shot up, so I decided things had to change.

‘As a group, we hired a fitness trainer and went for it. I just wanted to be toned. So I’d go on the treadmill exercise equipment for 30 minutes for my cardio exercise and then do an hour of resistance fitness training exercise with weights. I still have a lot of exercise to do on my legs.’

She was sent a Hypoxi therapy bike exercise equipment as a gift from Harrods three years ago. The bike costs £36,000 and while pedaling the fitness exercise equipment she is supposed to wear a high-waist rubber skirt to help banish cellulite. However, Cheryl Cole’s spokesman said she no longer uses the bike exercise equipment, nor has she kept on the £14,000-a-year fitness trainer.

Ms C also puts her quick weight loss down to a hectic schedule and energetic dance fitness exercise program.

“I have a really hectic schedule but it does have some health benefits – I get to do my fitness exercise without trying to stick to a fitness exercise program,” she said.
