Jessica’s Pregnancy Workout
Jessica continued to workout while she was pregnant. Her workout included 10 to 15 minutes of cardio - usually on the stationery bike, and the length of the workout varied depending on how she felt. Jessica also did a lot of standing stretches, arm circles, and many yoga poses such as; Downward Dog and Cat/Cow. During her pregnancy Jessica did more stretching she ever has done.
“We’ve been doing a lot more stretches and gentle exercises for strengthening her core. She does Cat/Cow, Downward Dog and Plank - but now she puts her knees down - and for strengthening her back, she does seated rows using a band, instead of a lat pull downs,” says Ramona Braganza; Jessica’s long time Personal Trainer.
“She does my “3-2-1 Workout,” which is based on 3 cardio segments, 2 circuit segments and one core segment, that you rotate through the week. That’s what she was doing up until her second trimester, then it was too much, so we took it down,” says Ramona. Six months into Jessica’s pregnancy she eased up big time on working out.
Jessica’s Post Baby Diet
Jessica didn’t go any specific diet to lose her pregnancy weight, but she is conscious of what she is eating. “Now I’m starting to eat more healthy. Because after working out, having fried chicken and mashed potatoes is a little counteractive.”
“She has always loved fruits, berries and vegetables, so she is doing what she wants to do. She has become even more health conscious because of the baby.” Ramona Braganza
Jessica’s Post Baby Workout
‘I lost the tummy just breastfeeding. I wear a band that my girlfriend wore after she gave birth.’ “I started working out last Thursday, but for 20 minutes. I do cardio on my own. I’m doing it slow.”
Trainer Ramona Braganza Tells What Jessica’s favorite Exercises. “Jessica loves to do back exercises — the rows, the lat pull downs — and she also loves riding the bike, watching T.V. or reading. And now she likes some stretches — there is a stretch we do that opens her hips, a kind of sciatic stretch, also one she does on a Pilates machine. She doesn’t really like squats or lunges, but she knows they are important, so we do them anyway.”

Gym in a Bag
Celebrity Trainer David Kirsch gives us some tips he used to train Anne Hathaway for Get Smart and Liv Tyler for The Hulk. “With Anne, I focused on shadowboxing to keep her long and lean—sparring, crossover punches and jumping jacks, with medicine ball crunches to work her core. Liv has amazingly long, gorgeous legs. So we focused on her upper body and torso: sprinting on the treadmill, seated rows, pullovers, flies and tricep extensions.”

David gave both ladies his gym bag which includes;
- One set of wrist weights (2.5 lbs or 5 lbs),
- One medicine ball (2, 4, 6, 8, or 10 lbs)
