Establish a morning routine that works for you. “I try to do something inspiring,” says Smart, who cuddles with her boyfriend, her Wheaton Terrier and their two cats, before doing 10 minutes of meditation.

Don’t deprive yourself. You can have what you crave, in moderation, says Smart, who admits to not being able to resist pizza or pasta. “What’s important is a balanced diet overall and drinking enough water,” she says.
